Looking for a fun, challenging and rewarding camp for the kids this summer? Come join Synnott Mountain Guides' Youth Rock Climbing Overnight Camp led by Mark Synnott, member of The North Face Climbing Team and an AMGA certified guide with 30 years of climbing experience. Your children will learn how to rock climb and rappel, and to master skills like maximizing balance, belaying, and route-finding -- all while building self-esteem, self-confidence, and great friendships.

This year's camp will include three nights of camping at the Fourth Iron Campground, which is located at the confluence of the Sawyer and Saco Rivers in Crawford Notch NH. In camp, the children will learn important outdoor skills like meal planning and preparation, use of camp stoves, fire-building, fishing, map and compass reading, navigation, and many other outdoor skills.

Parents will notice that enhanced problem-solving, social adaptability, and teamwork skills all come in the package...but the kids will be too busy climbing and camping outdoors to notice those other benefits!

Day 1: Meet with guides at the Synnott Mountain Guides office in Intervale NH at 8:30am. After a morning orientation and gear check, the group will proceed to Square Ledge in Pinkham Notch for a day of rock climbing.

Day 2: Rock climbing at Cathedral Ledge, afternoon swimming at the Saco River
